GIVING JUST GOT SWEETER

This Sunday teaching and training pays for itself with just one new giver – and you’ll get you a lot more than that because Grape Sundays lead to great Sundays.

Taking pressure off the pastor

Let’s be honest; every time a pastor teaches about money or giving, people can think, “Of course, he’s talking about giving; it’s how he gets paid.” However, I have nothing to gain from your people and everything to give. No offerings are taken for me, so it’s all directed toward the goal and mission of your church.

Bonus: the financial pressure for this event is off too. After teaching and equipping on tithing and generosity healthily and effectively, this event pays for itself with just one new annual tither.

GRAPE SUNDAYS LEAD TO GREAT SUNDAYS •

WHAT WE DO

  • Teach that tithing is the single most significant spiritual discipline of a believer - it touches all other areas while directing your heart.

  • Show that generosity breaks poverty - the size of your giving should match the size of your living, regardless of what you make for a living.

  • Explain how wealth can happen - God doesn’t just want you to be physically healthy. He wants you to be financially healthy. If you tithe, budget, and give, you’ll be able to create a better life than you’ve seen before.

  • Engrain people with this thought: God wants what you want more than you want it, even if you don’t believe it yet.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

  • “If you give $100 you’ll get $1,000.” That’s stupid, manipulative, and limiting. We teach that it’s up to God what you end with, but your ability determines what you start with.

  • We don’t take up offerings for ourselves. We gladly, and want to, help take offerings and generosity moments for your church and goals, but we work on fees, not offerings. Doing so removes any opportunity for manipulation.

  • We don’t pressure people to give. Instead, we create generous opportunities for people to live in.

If you’re ready to get your people to a new level of generosity and financial freedom, request an event, and we’ll try to make it happen.

I limit my calendar to only a handful of Grape Sundays a year.

Ongoing Resources

There are two main resources that are ongoing to help in addition to a Grape

Sunday.

  1. Grape Jelly. This book is a great resources to challenge your people, as well as a place to get content for your own teaching.

  2. I'm extremely selective in this, but I partner with a consultant who helps with the behind the scenes and team efforts to help with funding campaigns and similar projects. We work together to help take your church to the next level outside of a single Sunday.
